Many
organizations have been
criticized for adopting
carbon-neutral policies
because environmentalists
have argued the effectiveness
of carbon trading can
never be fully measured.
Forward selling, lack
of regulation, aging of
forests, indigenous land
right issues, methane
production by plants and
the albedo effect are
just a few factors which
have contributed to the
myth.
We encourage our stakeholders
to investigate the topic
themselves rather than
rely on companies which
sell primarily on the
basis of being carbon-neutral.
