industry. The backing is impervious and easily seam-sealable, providing maximum
performance and minimum hassle during maintenance. The loop designs are hard
wearing and the structure is engineered to provide low resistance to rolling. The
color pallet has been carefully selected to provide a warm feeling to the facility. We
feel that patient recovery is quicker when healing and nurturing takes place in an
environment which resembles a home.
To simulate a home environment Standard Carpets have introduced special Luxury impermeable rolls. The construction of the carpet is such that it provides a rich and nurturing fell to the overall aura of the facility. Special earthly undertones to the color pallet help in the rejuvenation process while the subtle modulated construction provides extra cushion and shock absorption to the feet, thus reducing fatigue and reducing overall recovery time of the patient.
Optional yarn systems for Aged Care rolls are treated with AlphaSan MB ABA0050141 Antimicrobial chemicals. The treated fiber shows very good efficacy (99.95%) against bacteria and fungus. Efficacy against bacteria is assesses based on ISO 20743. Efficacy against fungus is assessed using AATCC 174 against Aspergillus niger (ATCC 6275).
Aged Care carpets are 2 meter wide and 15 meters in length. The Vinyl based backing is light, flexible and easy to install. Standard feature includes INVISTA Anti-Soil Treatment.
